Founded in April 2009, the company now has partnerships with over 200 leading and niche publications of the country and across the globe as well. We distribute over 4,000 business news stories to global information databases like Dow Jones Factiva, LexisNexis, ProQuest and Thomson Reuters on a daily basis.

Content publishers put significant amount of time, energy, resources and capital in generating quality content. However, sometimes because of limited technical resources, this content is not distributed to the global network of information products & services. Athena has developed the content processing technologies and distribution network that enables publishers to generate additional revenues without any additional investments, neither in technology nor in sales and marketing.

The company has three verticals – Content Licensing, Content Services and Custom Branded Newsletters. Initially Athena started as a Content Services company in April 2009 and then it gradually started its Content Licensing and then Custom Branded Newsletters.
